Director Michelangelo Antonioni's first American film about the '60s counterculture features a young Harrison Ford in a small part as an airport worker and follows Daria Halprin and Mark Frechette as two young adults whose lives intersect in Death Valley, leading to a climactic, much talked-about finale.

Special features include the theatrical trailer from the 1970 film and featuring the music of Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, The Youngbloods and more.

'M. Butterfly'

Warner Bros.
Director David Cronenberg's big-screen take on the provocative Tony Award-winning play, itself derived from the Puccini opera Madama Butterfly, comes to DVD. Jeremy Irons plays a French diplomat who falls for a beautiful-yet-mysterious Chinese singer (John Lone) in the Beijing Opera in the 1960s, setting the stage for a 20-year love affair and an ultimate moment of betrayal.

Special features include a new interview with director Cronenberg, theatrical trailer and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

'Falling Down'

Warner Bros.
Michael Douglas gives a stirring performance as a man who experiences a meltdown in the dangerous urban sprawl of Los Angeles on the hottest day of the year. Robert Duvall is the cop just hours away from retirement trying to track down Douglas before he commits more violent acts, and Barbara Hershey is Douglas's ex wife concerned for her own safety.

Making its Blu-ray and DVD debut, this searing tale of rage features new commentary by Douglas and director Joel Schumacher, plus a new interview with Douglas, looking back at the 1993 film that was in production when the L.A. riots broke out. The Blu-ray also contains a 34-page book of filmmaker and talent bios, a discussion of the film, an examination of the "bad guy," photos and more.

'Powder Blue'

Speakeasy Releasing
Jessica Biel bares her soul -- and a whole lot more -- in this powerful thriller about an overwhelmed erotic dancer, a grieving husband who has lost his will to live, a terminally ill ex-con and a pathologically shy mortician. Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker and Eddie Redmayne round out the top-notch cast, with supporting turns by Patrick Swayze and Lisa Kudrow.

Special features include filmmaker commentary, trailer, photo gallery and the behind-the-scenes featurette "Shooting Blue: The Making of 'Powder Blue.'"

'New in Town'

Lionsgate
Renée Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr. get cozy in chilly Minnesota in this whimsical, fish-out-of-water romantic comedy. Renée plays a successful Miami-based executive who is sent out of town to oversee the restructuring of a blue collar manufacturing plant -- a temporary assignment that will surely get her recognized and promoted. Anxious to get it over with, the game changes when she ends up meeting the man of her dreams.

Special features include a behind-the-scenes featurette, a look at the special role pudding played in the film, deleted scenes, filmmaker commentary and more. Bonus Blu-ray materials include exclusive features "BD Live - Your Own Scrap Book Commentary" and "BonusView Picture-in-Picture" cast and crew commentary.
