'Galaxy Quest' on Blu-ray

Dreamworks
Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver delighted audiences back in 1999 with their 'Star Trek'/sci-fi spoof 'Galaxy Quest,' and now they're celebrating the film's 10-year-anniversary by making the light-speed leap to Blu-ray! Also starring Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell, Alan Rickman, Enrico Colantoni and Justin Long, 'Galaxy Quest' follows the convention-bound former stars of a "Star Trek"-like show who are unwittingly tasked to save an alien race who, having watched their show on the airwaves, believe they are the real deal. By Grabthar's Hammer!

The Blu-ray includes a Galactopedia (viewers can access info about characters, ships, aliens and more as the film plays); new interviews with the actors and filmmakers discussing how the film came together and what they think of it today; an exploration of the visual effects created by ILM and Stan Winston; the story of how the mannerisms of the Thermian race evolved; plus deleted scenes and Sigourney rapping. Need we say more?

'Fight Club' 10th Anniversary Edition on Blu-ray

20th Century Fox
The first rule of the 'Fight Club' 10th Anniversary Blu-ray is that you don't talk about the 'Fight Club' 10th Anniversary Blu-ray. That being said, the Brad Pitt-Edward Norton cult classic is making the leap to Hi-Def with all-new bonus materials including "Flogging Fight Club" and the interactive features "A Hit in the Ear: Ren Klyce and the Sound Design of Fight Club" (allowing viewers to remix the sound in four key scenes) and "Insomniac Mode: I Am Jack's Search Index" (in which you can access any part of the disc's extensive bonus material via interactive tools). The BD also goes behind-the-scenes with director David Fincher, Pitt and Norton as they accept the Guy Movie Hall of Fame honor for 'Fight Club' at Spike TV's 2009 Guys Choice Awards, and features filmmaker commentary, deleted scenes, a "Welcome To Fight Club" featurette, a music video, art and promotional galleries and much more.

For those not yet in the club, 'Fight Club' is based on the book by acclaimed writer Chuck Palahniuk, chronicling an aimless young professional (Norton) whose dreary existence takes a radical turn when he meets Tyler Durden (Pitt), a free-spirited radical who challenges all aspects of society and encourages those around him to reclaim their true lives with the help of a shocking new form of "therapy."

Other bonus features include commentary by historian Rudy Behlmer; "The Making of a Legend documentary" narrated by Christopher Plummer; newsreels from 1939 and 1961; the 1940 MGM historical short "The Old South"; a doc on the restoration of the film; extensive cast profiles, from the stars to the supporting players; and much more! Plus, exclusive to the Blu-ray Ultimate Collector's Edition, is the added documentary "MGM: When The Lion Roars."

The pseudo documentary follows Bruno's hilarious journey as he travels the globe in search of worldwide fame and love in and around Hollywood and the fashion biz. The hilarious film features cameos by Harrison Ford, Sir Elton John, Bono, Sting, Paula Abdul and more.

'My Sister's Keeper'

New Line Cinema
Cameron Diaz gets serious as Sara, a mother who is devastated when her precious toddler daughter Kate (Sofia Vassilieva) comes down with a rare form of leukemia. Sara and her husband Brian (Jason Patric) conceive another child out of desperation, Anna (Abigail Breslin), who is a perfect genetic match and will be able to save her sister's life. But the family's world is turned upside down when the 11-year-old Anna decides to seek emancipation to avoid being forced to give her sister a kidney.

Special features include a digital copy of the film; over 15 minutes of powerful additional scenes; and exclusively on the Blu-ray, "From Picoult to Screen," an interview with author Jodi Picoult in which she talks about how personal circumstances in her life became a Hollywood movie.

'Star Trek'

Paramount
Director J.J. Abrams goes where no one has gone before with a fresh take on the original "Star Trek" universe: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Karl Urban step into the boots of Kirk, Spock and McCoy in an all-new adventure pitting the U.S.S. Enterprise crew against a ruthless Romulan (Eric Bana) looking for revenge with a deadly, planet-destroying weapon. Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and John Cho take on the roles of Uhura, Scotty, Chekov and Sulu alongside the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy.

Special features on the two-disc DVD include a gag reel; filmmaker commentary with Abrams and the film's writers, Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman, plus two producers; deleted scenes (including Spock's birth, Klingons, more of the green girl and the original version of the Kobayashi Maru); the behind-the-scenes featurettes "A New Vision" and "To Boldly Go"; making-of docs on casting, aliens and the film's score by composer Michael Giacchino; a DVD-Rom with the Star Trek video game free trial; and a digital copy of the film.

The three-disc Blu-ray includes all the above special features plus BD-Live access to NASA News; the featurettes "Gene Roddenberry's Vision" and "Ben Burtt and the Sounds of Star Trek"; making-of docs about the creation of the U.S.S. Enterprise, planets, props and costumes of the film; exclusive "branching pods" from the various featurettes such as "The Shatner Conundrum," "Red Shirt Guy," "The Green Girl," "Bridge Construction Accelerated," "Button Acting 101," "The Captain's Chair," "Big Bro Quinto," "Klingon Wardrobe" and "Trekker Alert!"; and the Starfleet Vessel Simulator, in which viewers can explore extensive data on the Enterprise and the Romulan ship, the Narada, with breathtaking 360-degree views and close-ups.
