Ever since it premiered on TLC in January 2014, 90 Day Fiancé has captivated viewers and given us countless couples to obsess over.
The hit reality show follows people who have applied for a K-1 visa (aka the “fiancé visa”), which allows them to move to the United States and live with their prospective spouse—but if they don’t get married within 90 days, they get kicked out of the country.
Needless to say, those 90-day countdowns make for some seriously good TV. The show has even launched a few spin-offs, like 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and, most recently, 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined.
Despite the drama that tends to permeate every episode of this series, 90 Day Fiancé actually has a pretty good track record in the love department. In fact, most of the couples who appeared on the original series are still married today—but not all of them. Read on to find out exactly how your favorite duos are faring in 2022.
Paola and Russ: Then
Russ and Paola Mayfield met while Russ was working in Paola’s native Colombia, and they eventually got married in Oklahoma in 2013.
The Season 1 couple welcomed their first child together in January 2019.
Paola and Russ: Now
Though Paola posted a few cryptic social media posts about their marriage in 2021, the couple celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary last October and they are still together today.
Paola also started a wrestling career about a year ago, adopting the alter ego “Paola Blaze".
Alan and Kirlyam: Then
Alan and Kirlyam Cox met while Alan was on a Mormon mission trip to Kirlyam’s hometown in Brazil.
Kirlyam’s move to Los Angeles and the couple’s 2013 wedding were chronicled during Season 1 of 90 Day Fiancé.
Alan and Kirlyam: Now
Alan and Kirlyam are still going strong, though they were briefly separated (by geography) when Kirlyam got stranded in Brazil at the start of the pandemic.
They are now back together and enjoying life with their two sons.
Danielle and Mohamed: Then
Danielle Mullins (from Ohio) and Mohamed Jbali (from Tunisia) met in an online chat room, and their controversial relationship was a dramatic highlight of Season 2.
The two kept some pretty hefty secrets from each other, and Mohamed left Danielle shortly after their wedding.
Danielle and Mohamed: Now
Though Danielle originally threatened Mohamed with an annulment (which would have sent him back to Tunisia), she ended up only filing for divorce in 2017 so no one would get deported, and the two seem to be on friendly terms now.
Danielle appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life in 2021, and frequently takes to Instagram to post pics of her grandkids and promote weight loss drinks. Mohamed now works as a truck driver and stays relatively quiet on social media.
Brett and Daya: Then
Brett Otto (from Washington) and Daya De Arce (from the Philippines) met on an international online dating service, as shown in Season 2.
Despite some intense backlash from Brett’s mother, the couple had a genuine connection and got married in 2015.
Brett and Daya: Now
Brett and Daya are still together today, and the couple welcomed a baby girl named Isabella in 2017.
They also appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Self-Quarantined in 2020, which showed them experiencing some normal pandemic fatigue but still keeping their blended family intact. (Brett has an older daughter from a previous marriage.)
Cassia and Jason: Then
Jason Hitch started exchanging Facebook messages with Cassia Tavares while she was dating one of his friends.
Cassia ended up moving from Brazil to live with Jason in Florida, as seen in Season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé. They tied the knot by the end of the season, but got divorced in 2018.
Cassia and Jason: Now
Cassia graduated from the University of South Florida in 2020, and got married to her Italian personal trainer in February 2021.
Sadly, Jason passed away in December 2021 following Covid-19 complications. He was 45.
Alexei and Loren: Then
Loren Goldstone met Alexei Brovarnik, an Israel native, while she was on a trip in 2013.
The couple spent a year in a long-distance relationship before getting married, all of which was chronicled in their Season 3 episode.
Alexei and Loren: Now
Alexei and Loren are still together and have appeared on three spin-off series: 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, 90 Day Fiancé: What Now?, and 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk.
The couple welcomed their first baby in April 2020, then their second in August 2021. Just this past Mother’s Day, Loren announced she was pregnant again with baby No. 3.
Kyle and Noon: Then
Kyle Huckabee and Bajaree Boonma (aka Noon) met through Facebook while he was doing research for a trip to Thailand, where Noon is originally from. The two met in person when he went there on vacation.
Noon moved to New Orleans to live with Kyle, and the couple got married in a Buddhist temple at the end of season 3.
Kyle and Noon: Now
Kyle and Noon are still married today.
They live in Portland, Oregon and regularly post photos of their dog and two cats on Instagram.
Aleksandra and Josh: Then
When Josh Strobel visited the Czech Republic on a Mormon mission trip, he met his now-wife Aleksandra Iarovikova, who is originally from Russia but was attending college in Prague at the time.
Josh traveled to Russia and proposed to Aleksandra in 2015 after she converted to Mormonism. They got married that same year, which was shown in Season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé.
Aleksandra and Josh: Now
Aleksandra and Josh are still married and have two children together.
Josh recently graduated from medical school in New Orleans, and the entire family is moving to Shreveport, Louisiana for his residency.
Anfisa and Jorge: Then
In Season 4, Anfisa Arkhipchenko moved from Russia to California to live with Jorge Nava.
The couple faced many problems after moving in together, primarily centered around Jorge’s fears that Anfisa was just using him for his money. Nevertheless, they got married in a small courthouse ceremony in 2016.
Anfisa and Jorge: Now
In 2018, Jorge was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for marijuana possession. He was released in May 2020 and filed for divorce from Anfisa a few months later.
Today, Anfisa is a certified personal trainer and fitness influencer on Instagram. Jorge and his current girlfriend have two children together, the second of whom was born in March 2022.
Lowo and Narkyia: Then
Narkyia Lathan and Olulowo “Lowo” Shodipe’s relationship did not start on a great note. The couple met online, and Lowo told Narkyia a string of outrageous lies—namely that he was a Nigerian prince living in Alabama, and he had a son whose mother had passed away.
They tried to start an in-person romance but broke up by the end of Season 4.
Lowo and Narkyia: Now
Somewhat shockingly, Narkyia and Lowo ended up getting married after their season ended and are still together today.
The two even welcomed a baby girl in August 2020, and Narkyia regularly posts photos and videos of her happy family on Instagram.
Chantel and Pedro: Then
Chantel Everett (from Atlanta) met Pedro Jimeno while on a trip to the Dominican Republic. He proposed to her during one of her subsequent trips to visit him.
The couple had to work through a lot of drama during Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé, especially when it came to their families’ disapproval. They still made it down the aisle by the end of the season.
Chantel and Pedro: Now
Chantel and Pedro are still together and now star in their own spin-off series, The Family Chantel.
The show finished its third season in December 2021, and the fourth season is expected to premiere this June.
Andrei and Elizabeth: Then
Elizabeth Potthast met Andrei Castravet (from Moldova) during a trip to London, where Andrei lived and worked as a bouncer at the time.
Despite some cultural differences and family tensions, the Season 5 couple got married in 2017.
Andrei and Elizabeth: Now
Andrei and Elizabeth are still together and have appeared on several seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After.
The couple welcomed their first child in January 2019. In March 2022, they announced on Instagram that Elizabeth was pregnant again.
David and Evelyn: Then
Both from religious Christian backgrounds, David Zermeño (from Spain) and Evelyn Cormier (from New Hampshire) originally began chatting through Facebook.
Most of their Season 5 drama centered around their commitment to wait until marriage to sleep together, as well as their age difference—David was 27 when they filmed their episode, while Evelyn was just 18. They made it down the aisle regardless in 2017.
David and Evelyn: Now
Evelyn had a second dose of reality TV stardom when she passed through several rounds of the 17th season of American Idol.
In November 2021, the couple announced they were filing for divorce after four years of marriage.
Luis and Molly: Then
Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez got engaged only two months after they met in the Dominican Republic (Luis’s home country).
They did get married within 90 days of living together, but their relationship seemed doomed from the start—especially since Luis didn’t get along with Molly’s two daughters.
Luis and Molly: Now
Molly filed for divorce about six months after the wedding, and Luis quickly remarried after the divorce was finalized.
Molly, meanwhile, has shifted her focus from romance to business. She is the CEO of LiviRae Lingerie, a line of underwear and bras for curvy women.
Aika and Josh: Then
After Josh Batterson and Aika met on a dating app, Josh traveled to the Philippines to visit Aika in her home country. He proposed five days later.
They faced a few issues on Season 5 of the show—namely Josh’s previous domestic violence charges and the fact that he had already been married twice—but they tied the knot on camera during a small ceremony in Las Vegas.
Aika and Josh: Now
Josh and Aika are still together and living in Arizona.
The couple has a joint Instagram account, though they are relatively quiet on social media.
Ashley and Jay: Then
Ashley Martson met Jay Smith when she was vacationing in his home country of Jamaica. The two kept in touch through social media for about six months before Jay proposed.
The couple got married in Las Vegas in April 2018.
Ashley and Jay: Now
Three days after their wedding, Ashley discovered that Jay had an active Tinder account and filed for divorce. She withdrew the paperwork after a health scare.
Ashley filed for divorce again in 2019 and then again at the end of 2020. Their divorce was finalized in March 2021, and both parties seem focused on their respective careers—Jay as a tattoo artist, and Ashley as a hair stylist and salon owner.
Colt and Larissa: Then
After only spending 11 days together, Colt Johnson proposed to Larissa dos Santos Lima. She moved from Brazil to live with him in Las Vegas, as shown in season 6.
The two got married in the summer of 2018, but their union only lasted about six months. After a few tumultuous fights (and Larissa getting arrested for domestic battery), Colt filed for divorce in 2019.
Colt and Larissa: Now
Colt entered into a relationship with another Brazilian woman, Jess Caroline, which was shown on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? However, Colt cheated on her with Vanessa Guerra, whom he married in May 2021.
Larissa deleted her Instagram account this past February; but before she went offline, she mentioned that she was single and would be moving back to Las Vegas.
Asuelu and Kalani: Then
While on vacation in Samoa, Kalani Faagata met Asuelu Pulaa (a local working at the resort she was staying at) and got pregnant after losing her virginity to him. Kalani gave birth in January 2018, at which point Asuelu moved to the United States to begin the K-1 visa process.
Kalani found out she was pregnant yet again shortly after Asuelu arrived, so the couple rushed to get married before the end of the 90-day window. They welcomed their second child about eight months later.
Asuelu and Kalani: Now
The couple appeared to be doing well for several years, returning for both 90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk and 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?—though their drama-filled appearance on the latter raised some concerns.
Fans have been speculating in recent weeks that the couple is heading toward divorce. Clues include Asuelu unfollowing Kalani on Instagram, Kalani mentioning a “breaking point” on 90 Day Diaries, and some very cryptic social media posts from Kalani and her sister.
Eric and Leida: Then
Eric Rosenbrook met Leida Margaretha Cohen, who is originally from Indonesia, on an international dating site. Leida moved to Wisconsin to live with Eric, and the pair quickly became one of the most controversial couples of Season 6.
They got married, but Leida frequently clashed with Eric’s daughter and even kicked the teen out of the house. The couple also had a widely talked-about domestic dispute in 2019.
Eric and Leida: Now
Much to the surprise of 90 Day Fiancé fans everywhere, Eric and Leida are still together.
They both keep a pretty low profile on social media (especially after receiving death threats after season 6 aired), but they were spotted together at Indy Comic Con at the end of 2021.
Emily and Sasha: Then
When Emily Larina moved to Russia to teach English, she joined a gym and started training with Moscow native Alexander “Sasha” Larin. The two fell in love and Emily became pregnant, which is where their 90 Day Fiancé storyline picked up.
Emily gave birth to a boy, David, in Russia (her first child, his third) and the family unit moved to the U.S. to begin Sasha’s K-1 visa process. They got married by the end of season 7.
Emily and Sasha: Now
In 2021, Emily announced that their entire family would be moving to Russia to live permanently. She frequently posted about their happy life in Moscow on Instagram.
However, Emily and David moved back to the U.S. in March 2022—without Sasha. The move was prompted by the current political turmoil in Russia, not marital problems, so the couple remains a 90 Day Fiancé success story.
Juliana and Michael: Then
After meeting on a yacht in Croatia, Michael Jessen (from Connecticut) and Juliana Custodio (from Brazil) fell in love and made plans for Juliana to move to the U.S.
Juliana’s tourist visa was initially declined, but the couple still tried to figure things out during season 7. The K-1 visa ended up working out and the two got married in 2020.
Juliana and Michael: Now
Juliana and Michael appeared to be a success story for a couple years. But then Michael announced their split in October 2021, calling his relationship with Juliana a “Covid-19 casualty.”
Juliana shocked fans when, one month after the split, she announced that she was pregnant with her new boyfriend’s baby. She officially filed for divorce from Michael on Valentine’s Day 2022.
Syngin and Tania: Then
Tania Maduro and Syngin Colchester had an interesting start. Tania flew to South Africa to meet another man she knew from a dating app, but ended up making a connection with Syngin (a bartender at the time) instead.
Syngin moved to Connecticut to be with Tania during season 7. They got married in early 2020, but their subsequent appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? hinted that the honeymoon phase ended pretty quickly.
Syngin and Tania: Now
In October 2021, Syngin and Tania announced that they broke up and were heading toward divorce.
Syngin appeared on 90 Day: The Single Life in early 2022, which showed him trying to date again after the split. Tania is currently in Aruba filming for Season 3 of the spin-off series.
Anny and Robert: Then
Robert Springs and Anny Francisco spoke every day for six months before Robert finally made the trip to the Dominican Republic (Anny's home country). He proposed eight hours after arriving.
The couple got married by the end of Season 7.
Anny and Robert: Now
Anny and Robert are still married. Anny gave birth to their first daughter, Brenda, in July 2020.
The couple had their second child—a boy named Adriel—in September 2021. Tragically, Adriel died from a heart condition when he was just seven months old.
Ryan and Stephanie: Then
Stephanie Davison and Ryan Carr were definitely one of the most dramatic couples from Season 8. They met while Stephanie was vacationing in Ryan’s home country of Belize and immediately began a long-distance relationship.
During one of her visits to Belize, Stephanie ended up sleeping with Ryan’s cousin, Harris—a secret she kept from Ryan for a long time. Ryan forgave her and they tried to pursue an engagement, but the couple split up over the course of the season.
Ryan and Stephanie: Now
At the end of Season 8, Stephanie had reconnected with Harris and the two seemed hopeful about their relationship. Things clearly didn’t work out, as Stephanie was spotted with a new beau in January 2022 (and posted a selfie with O.J. Simpson in February—her last Instagram post to date).
Ryan has not posted on social media since March 2021.
Rebecca and Zied: Then
Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi made their franchise debut in season 3 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but returned for Season 8 of the OG 90 Day Fiancé.
The season showed Zied getting his K-1 visa and moving from Tunisia to the U.S. to be with Rebecca. They got married in April 2020.
Rebecca and Zied: Now
Rebecca and Zied appeared on 90 Day Diaries in April 2022. They are still married, and Zied has finally landed a job in the U.S. after getting his work permit.
The two bickered about Zied traveling back home to Tunisia, but their marriage remains strong as far as we can tell!
