Meghan Markle will soon be in her most important dress to date: her wedding gown! The Suits alum officially announced her engagement to Prince Harry in November 2017, and in anticipation of what she'll wear to her spring 2018 nuptials, ET's ranking her most regal pre-royal engagement red carpet looks.
7. Suit Up
Known for her cool and casual style, Markle opted for a dressed-down look during her appearance at the P.S. ARTS party in May 2016. The brunette beauty rocked a matching denim blazer and shorts combo, topping off her look with a white blouse and black stilettos.
6. Edgy and Chic
Markle made at a statement at the opening of a Sephora store in Toronto, Canada, in May 2016 in this trendy monochromatic look. The bride-to-be paired her high-waisted black flare skirt with a basic black top and leather jacket with gold hardware. If the shoes look familiar, your eyes aren't fooling you -- they appear to be a similar pair to the Aquazzura crisscross nude pumps she wore during her engagement photocall!

Markle gave off major princess vibes while attending the Step It Up for Gender Equality Celebration in New York City in March 2015. The Los Angeles native looked ethereal in a V-neck top, black skirt and strappy heels. Her pulled-back 'do with a middle part was the perfect finishing touch!

At the 12th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in November 2015 in New York City, the humanitarian donned a metallic Misha Nonoo mini dress with a plunging neckline. She styled the shimmering piece with black heels and a silver clutch.

When in doubt, rock a jewel tone! The actress, now 36, turned heads in a strapless fuchsia dress with bedazzled heels for the ELLE Women in Television Celebration in West Hollywood, California, in January 2013.
