Get Nostalgic With an 'Avengers' Core Six Now and Then Flashback!
You've come a long way, superhero actors!
It's been just over a decade since we were first introduced to Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in 2008's Iron Man, and in the 11 years and more than 20 Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks since, we've also seen the debuts of the rest of the core six Avengers.
The crew at the heart of the comic books and film franchise consists of Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye. With their lives spared for Avengers: Endgame and this final chapter focused heavily on this crew, we felt nostalgic about the first time we saw the actors who play them: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner.
From Iron Man to The Avengers, we're taking a look back at what all six of these A-listers looked like on the red carpet premieres of their first MCU flicks. Let's just remember that even though the 2000s were rough for many of us, somehow these actors came out unscathed and at the Avengers: Endgame premiere earlier this week, all looked better than ever. (And they all clean up nicely, eh?)
