We're still one week away from Christmas, but Jay-Z is already warming our hearts with his holiday cheer!
During his concert at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, on Saturday, the 48-year-old rapper put an extra special smile on the face of one female superfan in the audience -- two-time cancer survivor Christina Cruz.
Jay-Z stopped his show after noticing Cruz's glittering sign, which read, "I Beat Cancer 2X 2 C U! I LOVE U!!! SELFIE OR HUG?"
As soon as he saw it, he invited Cruz to join him onstage. "You beat cancer twice, I gotta give you at least a hug," he exclaimed. "You must know, you beat cancer twice, you can do anything. In those dark times, you just remember to smile. Always smile!"
In an adorable moment captured by fans on social media, HOVA wrapped his arms around Cruz for a sweet hug. They also shared a brief chat before she was exited off stage.
Following the show, one of Cruz's friends took to Instagram to share a video of her pal on the big screen with Jay-Z.
"My bestie got to meet #Jayz last night!" she captioned it. "#fuckcancer #shesASurvivor#444tour ? #sheLovesHim #christinacruz#jayzconcert #jayz444tour."
It doesn't get much sweeter than that!
