On Wednesday, Jinger Duggar and husband Jeremy Vuolo announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on their website, along with a photo of them holding a sign that read: "We're expecting!"
"The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage. We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be," the blog post begins. "Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: we are expecting our first child! We are praising God for this beautiful gift and ask that you join us in praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy."
In a clip posted to TLC, Jeremy gushes, "When Jinger and I found out, we were thrilled to know that we were going to be parents."
Jinger, 24, added, "It's super exciting. It's just hard to believe that we're already at this stage in life."
As for whether they're having a boy or girl, Jinger predicts, "I think it's going to be a boy." Jeremy, 30, also wagers, "I have a feeling it's going to be a little boy as well, but I'd also like to have a little princess."
Gushing over his wife, the soccer player muses, "I am praying that the baby look like, talk like, act like Jinger. So, I've asked everyone else to pray as well. I was a little terror as a child."
Jinger added, "I think we're most looking forward to having this little one in our arms, and to be parents and to learn how to multi-task."
