Khloe Kardashian to Head Back to Los Angeles as Soon as Baby Is 'Ready to Travel'

A source tells ET the reality stars 'need to be close to family right now.'

Khloe Kardashian is ready to head home to Los Angeles.

After giving birth to her first child, a baby girl, with Tristan Thompson at a hospital outside of Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday, a source tells ET that the 33-year-old reality star is planning on traveling back to California as soon as possible.

While Khloe and her family are thrilled about the newborn, it's been a rough few days for the new mom, amid reports that her NBA star boyfriend -- who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers -- allegedly cheated on her with multiple women.

"After a very tumultuous few days for Khloe, she has made the decision to fly home to Los Angeles as soon as the baby is ready to travel," the source says. "Right now, she realizes she needs her family around her and knows they are the people in her life that she will always love and trust."

Tristan should be in Cleveland for at least a week, as he has two upcoming games with the Cavs -- a playoff game on Sunday, and another scheduled for next Wednesday.

As for where his relationship currently stands with Khloe? The source tells us their future is uncertain.

"Tristan and Khloe talked about marriage before the videos came to light, but that has been put on the back burner," the source claims, adding that the Revenge Body star's family and friends believe she "deserves better."

Despite the relationship drama, Khloe's mom, Kris Jenner, sister Kim and Kourtney, and best friend, Malika Haqq, have kept the delivery room a "peaceful place," our source says. They were all in the delivery room when Khloe's daughter (who has yet to be named) arrived.

"They have all stayed positive," the source reveals. "They will continue to be there to support Khloe when she returns home to Los Angeles … Right now, Khloe's health and well-being is first and foremost to Kris and the family."

As previously reported, another source told ET on Tuesday that Khloe's family were all "rallying around her" amid Tristan's infidelity scandal, and that they tried to make sure Khloe focused on "having a healthy experience."

The source said that the allegations came as a shock to the Kardashian family, who "really like Tristan and have welcomed him into their family."

In the days leading up to her due date, before the allegations surfaced, Khloe spent her time keeping a low profile, relaxing at the couple's home in Cleveland and taking to Instagram and Snapchat to document the final days of her pregnancy journey.
