Lifetime rips another story from the headlines with 'Kidnapped in Her Own Home,' the tale of Martha Carelli, whose quiet life is shattered when an escaped convict hiding in her basement takes her hostage. Forced to drive his getaway car, Martha finds herself trapped in a dangerous psychological battle where survival depends on both courage and cunning.  As the miles pass, Martha carefully leaves behind subtle clues she hopes will guide authorities to her location. With her captor growing increasingly volatile and another hostage’s life at stake, Martha must rely on her instincts, resilience, and resourcefulness to outwit her abductor and make it home alive. 'Castle' alum Stana Katic stars as Martha and serves as an executive producer on the Traci Hays-directed film, premiering Saturday, May 2, on Lifetime.
