The 'Insidious' franchise returns with a new family and a new terror that redefines what The Further is capable of. Gemma (Amelia Eve), a young mother, is raising her daughter in the house she grew up in when she discovers she can travel into The Further, a purgatorial realm of lost souls. When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that allows her to bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground. The film, which co-stars Lin Shaye, hits theaters on Aug. 21.
