James Van Der Beek Takes Fans Behind the Scenes of ‘Dawson’s Creek’ (Flashback)

To celebrate James Van Der Beek turning 45, ET is flashing back to 1997 when the young actor was the star of 'Dawson's Creek.' The Connecticut native opens up on the North Carolina set about auditioning for the role. After the teen drama made James a household name, he parlayed his talent into a film career and put his country accent to work in the mega-hit ‘Varsity Blues.’ Fast forward to 2022, and James is now enjoying a slower pace of life, living in Austin, Texas with his wife and six kids.
