Melody Thornton Sets the Record Straight on Pussycat Dolls’ 2006 AMAs Performance (Exclusive)

Former Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton is dishing on what really happened during the group’s now-viral performance at the 2006 American Music Awards. Melody also reflects on her time in the Pussycat Dolls and explains why she decided to not join the group for their revival in 2019. She then reveals if she’d be down to join the group for a special occasion. The 35-year-old songstress also shares her favorite PCD song and the surprising track that she didn’t initially appreciate, but grew to love. For now, Melody is sending the group positive vibes and staying focused on her journey as a solo artist. Her new EP, ‘Lioness Eyes,’ is out now and she’s set to perform a virtual concert through Los Angeles staple Hotel Cafe on Sept. 4.
