Prince Harry gets candid about his own trauma in his new Apple TV+ docu-series, ‘The Me You Can’t See,’ with Oprah Winfrey. The Duke of Sussex says he never properly processed the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car crash when he was 12-years-old in 1997. Harry says that he later used drugs and alcohol to mask his pain and anxiety. He credits meeting his now-wife, Meghan Markle, with encouraging him to seek help. ET sat down with the series’ director, Dawn Porter, and she echoed that sentiment, calling Meghan his ‘number one supporter.’
