ET’s Deidre Behar spoke with the iconic star while promoting the ‘One Day at a Time’ animated special, airing June 16 on Pop TV. Moreno opened up about the recent global protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement and reflected on how she’s experienced racism in her career. The 89-year-old EGOT also shared memories of fighting for civil rights as she attended the March on Washington in 1963 and witnessed Martin Luther King Jr. improvise his ‘I Have a Dream’ speech.
