This comes after a bombshell 2023 video of Paul hitting, scratching and throwing chairs at Mortensen surfaced, forcing the cancelation of her season of ABC's 'The Bachelorette' just days before its premiere. Taylor Swift faces a new lawsuit over the title of her 2025 album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.' Maren Wade, a Las Vegas showgirl, is suing Swift for trademark infringement, citing her own 'Confessions of a Showgirl' mark. Swift's request to trademark the album title last August was initially rejected by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, specifically due to potential confusion with Wade's mark. Swift ultimately chose to keep the name anyway. Prior to the lawsuit, Wade posted several videos to social media using Swift's music and 'The Life of a Showgirl' hashtags. Swift has yet to comment on the suit, but released a music video for 'Elizabeth Taylor,' which features clips of the song's namesake in various films.
