Sean Kanan on the 1988 Audition That Landed Him 'Karate Kid' Role and 'Cobra Kai' Return (Exclusive)

Sean Kanan, aka 'Karate Kid Part III's Mike Barnes, is back for 'Cobra Kai' season 5. Ahead of his return, ET catches up with the actor and uncovers rare vault footage from the open casting call he attended in 1988 that ultimately got him the gig. Sean reflects on that audition and shares what it was like to reunite with Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. 'Cobra Kai' season 5 starts streaming on Friday, Sept. 9, on Netflix.
