Clooney's collaboration with director Alexander Payne provided an opportunity to good-naturedly gripe about not being cast in Sideways -- how he really feels about kids -- and what he took away from working on The Descendants.

The Los Angeles Times Envelope Screening Series event was held at the Arclight Theaters in Sherman Oaks for Academy and Guild members Sunday night, with fellow cast mates Shailene Woodley and Judy Greer part of the Q&A.
