Years before her big break on Grey's Anatomy and subsequent, steady movie career, Katherine Heigl was a young up-and-comer who starred opposed none other than Gerard Depardieu in the early '90s comedy My Father the Hero. Watch Katherine's first ET interview at sweet 15!

"It's a new experience, but it's also a lot of fun and a lot of hard work," said Katherine of her first lead role on the New York City set back in '93. "It was more of a challenge, but it's much funner."

Of playing the unlikely offspring of Depardieu and Lauren Hutton, Katherine shared, "[Lauren] came down to the Bahamas to see us all, and she was great and she was really fun, and it's easy to pretend I'm her daughter, and Gerard's the same way. Just easy and fun and a great guy."
