Gregory Peck's Killer 'Mockingbird' Moment

To Kill a Mockingbird is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a fully restored print, digitally remastered on Blu-ray, just in time for Black History month. Gregory Peck won an Academy Award for his performance as lawyer Attacus Finch, and we have a clip of his closing statements to the jury – one of his finest moments.

Based on Harper Lee's timeless, Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Peck plays a white, Depression-era Alabama attorney who defends a black man (Brock Peters) against a rape charge while teaching his children about principles, strength and conviction.

The 1962 film was nominated for a total of 8 Academy Awards, and Peck's Atticus Finch was named AFI's No. 1 Film Hero of All Time.
