In a story inspired by true events, Chris plays Sam, a fast-talking salesman tasked with fulfilling his estranged father's last wishes: to deliver an inheritance to a sister named Frankie (played by Elizabeth) he never knew he had. As their relationship develops, Sam is forced to rethink everything he thought he knew about this family -- and re-examine his own life choices in the process.

Who's the Better Kisser, Chris Pine or Tom Hardy?

Calling the movie an "amazing, character-driven story," Elizabeth jokes to ET, "Chris Pine's showing off in this movie. … He plays a character that you really should not like … [but] because it's Chris Pine playing this character, you're in love with him from the first minute and you're rooting for him the whole time."

Directed by Alex Kurtzman, the film also stars Olivia Wilde, Michael Hall D'Addario, Philip Baker Hall, Mark Duplass and Michelle Pfeiffer.
