It's official -- after months of rumors, Lionsgate has just announced that actress Jena Malone will be playing Johanna Mason in Catching Fire, the highly anticipated next installment of The Hunger Games franchise.
The Mason character is a young female victor from a past Hunger Games, a District 7 survivor who's proficient with axes, but remains deeply psychologically scarred from her time in the Games.
