New Trailer: 'The Iceman' Cometh

The amazing story of one of the mob's most notorious hit men finally hits the big screen this May, and we have a first look at the nerve-shattering trailer for The Iceman, starring Man of Steel villain Michael Shannon and Captain America himself, Chris Evans.

Richard Kuklinski (played by Shannon) appears to be a devoted husband and father living the American dream, but in reality he's a ruthless killer-for-hire who knocked off more than 100 men for the mob before his arrest in 1986. Inspired by actual events, The Iceman follows his trajectory from a man caught between a rock and a hard place to the cold-blooded killing machine that earned him his notorious nickname.

Sporting lots of handlebar mustaches, the supporting cast includes Chris Evans, David Schwimmer, Robert Davi, Stephen Dorff, James Franco and mobster mainstay Ray Liotta, plus Winona Ryder as Kuklinski's oblivious, loyal wife.

Directed by Ariel Vromen (Danika, Rx), The Iceman stalks theaters starting May 3.
