'Top Gun' Stars Buzz 'Disney's Planes'

Disney clearly has the need for speed! Disney's Planes, the brand-new Cars spinoff film, flies into theaters in 3D on Aug. 9, and Top Gun stars Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards are adding some high-flying flair to the just-revealed voice cast.

With a friendly nod to their famous big-screen fighter-pilot personas, Kilmer and Edwards provide the respective voices of Bravo and Echo, members of the Jolly Wrenches and fans of air racing in the action-packed, comedic tale of Dusty (voiced by Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. Dusty's not exactly built for racing – and he's also afraid of heights – so he turns to a seasoned naval aviator (played by Stacy Keach) to learn how to take on the defending champ of the race circuit.
