God of Thunder Chris Hemsworth feels a whole new electricity in Rush, his new Formula 1 biopic from Oscar-winning director/producer duo Ron Howard and Brian Grazer, and we've got a first look at the high-octane trailer that allows the Avengers action star to flex his acting chops.

Set against the sexy, glamorous and spectacular golden age of Formula 1 racing, Rush recreates the merciless 1970s rivalry between Grand Prix racers James Hunt (Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl), a charismatic English playboy and a methodical Austrian perfectionist, respectively, whose clashes on the racetrack epitomized the contrast between their extraordinary personalities and pushed them to the physical and psychological breaking point.
