Following in the footsteps of Malick's dreamy, controversial The Tree of Life, To the Wonder tells the story of Marina (Kurylenko) and Neil (Affleck), who meet in France and move to Oklahoma to start a life together. Looking locally for someone with common ground, Marina makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile (Javier Bardem), who is struggling with his vocation, while Neil renews a relationship with a childhood sweetheart (McAdams), complicating everyone's dreams.

The exploration of love in its many forms opens April 12 in New York and Los Angeles, with a national expansion to follow.
