Gwyneth: Men Were 'Crybabies' Over 'Iron Man' Suit

By

For the first time, Gwyneth Paltrow's Iron Man 3 character Pepper Potts steps into the iconic suit of armor and explains to ET's Brooke Anderson why she can't understand why her male co-stars made such a fuss about wearing the elaborate superhero costume!

"It was nothing -- it was just nothing at all. Women are so much stronger than men," Gwyneth said. "Oh my god, I was like, 'what are they complaining about?' It's not as comfortable as yoga pants, but it's a costume!"

The star added that while she dealt just fine with the heavy and bulky armor, both Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) and Don Cheadle (War Machine) "were both dying and having panic attacks in their suits." Gwyneth then added: "Men are crybabies."

In response, Robert admitted shedding a few tears during the experience, but explained the motivation behind it. "We did a lot of crying so she (Gwyneth) could have a good time."

Don told Brooke that his suit of armor was even more massive than Robert's, with a big gun perched up on the back. "It feels like you are a giant turtle," he joked.
