'Epic' Silliness

There must be something funny about being shrunk down to insect-like proportions… Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Pitbull, Aziz Ansari and Chris O'Dowd all got a little loopy while promoting their hugely imaginative animated Epic, from discussing bug squashing to making fun of the 3D experience. In theaters Friday, Epic tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teenage girl (voiced by Seyfried) finds herself magically transported/miniaturized into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world…and ours.
