First Trailer: 'Rise' of the '300' Sequel

Seven years after Gerard Butler uttered his battle cry, "This is Sparta!!!!," the first, action-packed trailer for the highly anticipated 300: Rise of an Empire has arrived, and its stalwart star Sullivan Stapleton has a special, exclusive invitation for ET viewers to watch!

Man of Steel and 300 director Zack Snyder produces this epic follow-up film that tells a parallel story of a raging battle at sea between Greek general Themistokles (Stapleton) and the massive invading Persian naval forces led by god-king Xerxes (played by the returning Rodrigo Santoro) and his vengeful commander, Artemisia (played by Eva Green).

Game of Thrones star Lena Headey also returns for 300: Rise of an Empire, directed by Noam Murro (Smart People), in theaters March 7, 2014.
