Calling the situation "awful," Patrick Wilson felt particularly saddened by the situation, given the Glee actor was in the midst of turning his life around.

"Anyone that struggles with drugs and alcohol, you just hope they can, that they have a great support group around them and can get out of it and, sadly, a lot of kids don't," he said. "It's terrible."

Added Wilson's co-star Ron Livingston, "I think anytime you lose anybody that's that young, and anytime that you lose somebody that's trying to face up to their problems and actually reaching out and getting help…I don't know what you can say really except that my heart goes out to his loved ones and especially his family. For his parents, it's got to be a devastating blow"
