Damon's Action Film 'Elysium' Nabs Top Spot

Matt Damon's anticipated action return in Elysium yielded steady inflow at the box office this weekend, as the sci-fi action film topped all films with an estimated $30.5 million domestic gross total.

Although it boasted a first-place finish, Elysium had a legion of fellow first-week films on its heels, including We're The Millers, which finished a close second with a $25.7-million weekend.
