1. Born Alexa Ellesse Vega on August 27, 1988 in Miami, FL -- her father is Colombian and her American mother is a former model.
2. Her first big film role was in the 1996 blockbuster Twister.
3. Revealed in an interview that she received her first kiss on the set of Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams at age 13 with a young stuntman -- but only after she had called her mother to see if it was okay.
