Ryan Gosling and director Nicolas Winding Refn's first collaboration, Drive, was a no-holds-barred, in-your-face, thriller. And while the character-specifics have changed for their second film together, Only God Forgives, the story that unfolds is equally hypnotic. But for Gosling, the script was secondary to the promise of partnership.

"We had had this great experience making Drive," Gosling says in ETonline's exclusive clip off the Only God Forgives DVD bonus features. "He'd been being offered a lot of things that were a lot bigger, but he was still deciding to go to Thailand and make this small film that was going to divide people. I just felt like I wanted to go on that [journey]."
