James Franco has proven himself to be a thoroughly captivating artist and that is triply true with As I Lay Dying, the new film he wrote, directed and stars in.

Also starring Tim Blake Nelson, Danny McBride, Logan Marshall-Green, Ahna O'Reilly, Jim Parrack, Beth Grant and Brady Permenter, the film is adapted from the 1930 classic American novel by William Faulkner and chronicles the story of the Bundren family as they traverse the Mississippi countryside to bring the body of their deceased mother Addie to her hometown for burial.
