A New, Alternate 'Anchorman 2' Coming to Theaters?

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is burning up the box office, and now Champ Kind himself -- funnyman David Koechner -- exclusively tells ETonline that an alternate version of the film with entirely different takes -- and even a lost musical number -- may hit theaters soon!

"There's talk that ... there's another movie -- of the same movie," explains Koechner of an alternate Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues -- similar in concept to Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie, a feature-length assembly of additional material that ultimately found its way on to the Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy Blu-ray. "There are 250 additional jokes: They're alternative or they're scenes that didn't make this cut [of Anchorman 2]. ... We have an embarrassment of riches, joke-wise and comedy-wise. I don't know if I can say this -- I'm going to -- there's a musical number that didn't make the picture that's just glorious. But I've heard that they might put out an alternate version months later [after the December release of Anchorman 2] that you'll enjoy equally."
