Much-Anticipated 'Gone Girl' Trailer Finally Debuts! (VIDEO)

The highly anticipated Gone Girl trailer debuted Monday, giving fans a peek at the thriller that promises to be every bit as intense as the best-selling Gillian Flynn novel upon which it's based.

Set to a haunting cover of the Charles Azvanour song She, the film appears to be entirely true to director David Fincher's dark style, and from the looks of it, elicits a standout performance from Ben Affleck, who plays Nick Dunne, the man suspected of killing his missing wife Amy (Rosamund Pike).

Check out the trailer to see the icy marriage between Nick and Amy play out on the big screen, and to hear a few truly chilling words from Nick.

"I did not kill my wife. I am not a murderer," he says, strangely detached.
