Starring alongside Guy Pearce, the Twilight heartthrob's new sci-fi drama is about a loner (Pearce) who tracks down the gang who stole his car from a desolate town in the Australian outback. He does so with the forced assistance of a wounded guy (Pattinson) left behind in the wake of the theft.

The Rover, written by Pearce, hits theaters in limited release on June 13 and expands wide on June 20. It will also premiere at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
