Twenty years ago, one of the greatest action heroes in film and one of the sexiest leading ladies teamed up with one of Hollywood's most successful directors to create a action-adventure blockbuster that would take the country by storm.
Of course we're talking about the classic True Lies, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis, was directed by Avatar and Titanic creator James Cameron and hit theaters July 15, 1994.
In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, ET went into the vaults to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the action epic.
At the time it was filmed, True Lies was the most expensive movie ever made at $100 million dollars. James Cameron would set the record again three years later with Titanic, which cost $200 million.
The fun film follows a fearless, globe-trotting, terrorist-battling secret agent (Schwarzenegger) who has his life turned upside down when he discovers his wife (Curtis) might be having an affair with a used car salesman.
