Today marks 15 years since M. Night Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense hit theaters and shocked audiences everywhere with its surprise ending! The film also launched 11-year-old Haley Joel Osment into worldwide fame and Entertainment Tonight spoke to the actor back in 1999 right after the movie hit number one at the box office.

"I'm glad that a lot of people were able to connect with the movie because it really is not just a horror movie it's a movie about communication," Haley said. "I'm glad a lot of people out there could connect with that."

Haley went on to star in Steven Spielberg's Artificial Intelligence, Secondhand Lions. Most recently he has appeared in 2013's Sci-fi mystery movie, I'll Follow You Down and IFC's mini-series, The Spoils of Babylon.

And believe it or not, since 2001 he has been the voice behind several characters for the popular video game series, Kingdom of Hearts

The now 26-year-old will also appear in the highly anticipated movie adaption of HBO's Entourage where he will play the son of Billy Bob Thornton's character. The film hits theaters June 2015.
