Boop-Oop-a-Doop! Betty Boop is making her way back to the big screen.
The sexy classic cartoon is getting her own feature-length film thanks to Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment and Animal Logic Entertainment -- and she's also reacting to the news? "I'm so excited to return to the big screen," Betty Boop, a cartoon, said in a statement. "I only work with the best! Let's have some fun, Simon. Boop-Oop-a-Doop!"
Cowell, a real-life person, also expressed his excitement for the upcoming movie, saying, "Betty is an icon, and one of the biggest stars in the world -- I'm thrilled to be working with her. Betty, I've worked with some serious divas but I think you could be the biggest of them all!"
This will be Boop's first movie since her cameo in the 1988 comedy-crime film Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Betty Boop first showed up in show business in Max Fleischer's Talkartoons in the 1930s and in her own cartoon series. She has also appeared in a Lancome campaign as well as ads for Coca-Cola, NASCAR and UNIQLO.
