It's a 'Walk the Line' reunion in the new 'Inherent Vice' trailer.

There's a brief Walk the Line reunion between Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix in the new Inherent Vice trailer -- but they're not Johnny Cash and June Carter anymore.

The film is already being hailed as director P.T. Anderson's funniest film yet, with an all-star cast that rivals that of David O. Russell's 2013 film American Hustle. In addition to Reese and Joaquin, Jena Malone, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, and Owen Wilson also star in Inherent Vice.

In the movie, Joaquin (who also starred in P.T.'s The Master) plays 1970's drug-fueled Los Angeles detective Larry "Doc" Sportello who is investigating the disappearance of a former girlfriend. This takes him on a wild goose chase where he runs into lots of interesting, albeit hilarious, characters.
