Have Marvel and Sony found their new Spider-Man?
According to Latino-Review, the studios are in negotiations with actor Asa Butterfield -- and if all goes according to plan, Butterfield will be our newest web-slinger.
The 18-year-old British actor is significantly younger than the Spideys of the past. Tobey Maguire was 26 when he starred in 2002’s adaptation, and Andrew Garfield was 28 when he first put on the suit in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man.

Butterfield is best known for his roles in the Oscar-nominated Hugo and starring opposite Harrison Ford in Ender's Game.
We’ll first see our new Spidey in a Marvel movie, rumored to be Captain America: Civil Warin May 2016 – followed by his own standalone Sony film in July 2017.
