The newest jaw-dropping trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakensdropped during ESPN’s Monday Night Football, and it gave us over two whole minutes of (mostly) new footage to absolutely lose our minds over.

From new robots to Wookie hygiene to glimpses of a final, exciting showdown, the new trailer gave us a deeper, more exciting look at director J.J. Abram's Star Wars universe.

Without answering any of the questions raised by the poster released yesterday, this new trailer still had some stand-out moments that got our pulse racing and our hearts soaring.

1. Spaceship Scavenging

Walt Disney Studios

It's nice to see that, even in a galaxy far, far away, urban exploring is still a popular pastime. This is the perfect way to introduce audiences to the vast, cavernous world the Star Wars universe inhabits.

2. The BB-8!

Walt Disney Studios

In case you were worried that the BB-8 would lose some of its luster, you were wrong. It's still the most adorable electronic volleyball of all time!

3. Daisy Ridley Should Be in the Indiana Jones Remake

Walt Disney Studios

Ridley, who plays the space scavenger Rey, looks like she's been plucked from one of the many outdoor market places Indiana Jones is always walking through or shooting bad guys in. If rumors of a Indian Jones prequel and/or reboot are true, Ridley is the best possible choice for a young Marion Ravenwood.

4. Inappropriate Desert Attire

Walt Disney Studios

Sure, Finn (John Boyega) probably isn't wandering the sweltering, sandy dunes because he wants to, but seriously a black sweatshirt, long pants and a heavy jacket are not ideal clothing choices for getting stuck in a desert wasteland. Just a head’s up for the future, Finn.

5. Poe's in Trouble

Walt Disney Studios

Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) appears to be torturing resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), and it doesn't look good for the talented X-wing pilot. What is Kylo doing, force-choking Poe's brain? Because that would be amazing.

6. That's One Quality Crossguard Lightsaber

Walt Disney Studios

After a big hullabaloo was made about Kylo Ren's three-pronged "Crossguard" lightsaber, we learned one important fact -- it works in the rain! So that's a plus! For all your climactic-lightsaber-battles-in-the-rain needs.

7. Grittier War Scenes

Walt Disney Studios

While the battle scenes in some Star Wars films felt cartoonish, the shots from this trailer seem to indicate that J.J. Abrams got inspiration from films like Saving Private Ryan to give the "wars" in Star Wars some real gravitas.

8. New Droids!

Walt Disney Studios

OK, so we already have a novelty BB-8 toy, when is this awesome, hulking weird droid thing going to get an action figure?!

9. Chewbacca Maintenance

Walt Disney Studios

Let’s be honest, Chewie is due for a haircut. Not a full shave down or anything, but just a clean-up. You don't see Han sporting an old-man beard, Chewie.

10. Reunited and It Feels So Good

Walt Disney Studios

Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) being held in the arms of Han Solo (Harrison Ford)? It's such a sweet moment! Sure, Leia looks like someone just told her Santa doesn’t exist, but despite the tears it still hits a sweet spot in our heart.

11. Finn vs Kylo!

Finn has a blue lightsaber (which implies he can use the Force) and he's in a showdown with Kylo and his crossguard! And he looks terrified. Who wouldn't be? That crossguard looks wicked!
