While it’s likely Star Wars: The Force Awakens lead John Boyega has had ample opportunity to see the highly anticipated movie, the actor told ET he’s counting down just like the rest of us.
“I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it's good!” Boyega said. “I think I’m definitely going to wait to see it with family and friends.”

ET caught up with Boyega at the Film Independent Spirit Awards nominations, where he and actress Elizabeth Olsen revealed the nominees for the upcoming 2016 awards show.
“This is an absolute honor,” said Boyega of presenting the nominations. “One of the most important things about this is showing support to art in general.”
And though he’s about to star in the big-budget blockbuster that is Star Wars, Boyega will continue his work in independent film -- he got his start in 2011’s Attack the Block.
“It was a really big life-changing thing in my career,” Boyega said of his first movie.
ET was with Boyega earlier this month, where he talked about sitting in on a Force Awakens scoring session with legendary music composer John Williams. Watch in the video below:
