Don’t mess with Olivia Munn!
The 35-year-old actress has undoubtedly proven her dedication to her role as the mutant Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse.

In the latest trailer, we see a purple-haired Munn flipping through the air while simultaneously slicing a car in two. You might expect the badass move to require a stunt double, but Munn made sure to take on the task herself.

“That was me from the beginning to the end,” Munn told ET at the Sci-Tech Awards. “That was a really cool thing to feel like when I showed up on set I was like, “Oh wait, I can do this! Throw me onto a wire, give me a sword – I’m good!’”
Munn said she trained for about six or seven hours per day in preparation for the movie, including exercises in Tae Kwon Do, sword fighting and wirework.
“Psylocke is such a powerful, lethal character,” said Munn. “It was important to me that I was able to do all of the stunts because the more believable it is, the better it is for the audience -- and the only way to make it believable is for me to actually do it.”
X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016. Are you excited to see Munn as Psylocke?
