Ludacris Takes Over 'Fast & Furious 6' Premiere

Ludacris Takes Over 'Fast & Furious 6' Premiere

Like the flashy cars, fast attitudes and fun times of Fast & Furious 6, the premiere of the latest installment of the popular franchise in Los Angeles was just as flashy and just as entertaining -- with a private concert put on by the film's very own Ludacris that had co-stars and fans alike anticipating his performance.

Fast & Furious 6 Speed Round

"I'm excited. He's amazing. He's fun and also knowing him, I'm more connected with him. So I'm sure we're going to have a lot of fun," said a lovely Elsa Pataky, who plays Elena in the film and wore a sparkling, navy blue shorts ensemble at the event.

"When we shot 5 [Fast Five] he took us to his concert in Atlanta," said Gal Gardot, who reprises her role as Gisele. "We were onstage when he performed and wow, he's a badass. He's so talented in whatever he does. He's amazing."

Ludacris collaborates with Usher and David Guetta for the song Rest Of My Life, which is on the soundtrack for the film. Sporting a flashy white suit, checkered bow tie and red shirt, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges told ET’s Rocsi Diaz, "I'm about to wear the same damn thing. That's how I'm feeling."

When asked by ET if the Act A Fool singer could do his songs justice while wearing a suit, Ludacris quipped, "You damn right. Listen you could get a performance out of me if I was in a straight jacket. It would still be good." The actor/singer later took the stage and belted out his hit, All I Do Is Win.

The unexpected franchise started out with The Fast and The Furious back in 2001 and today has spawned into a returning box-office sensation with a total of six films and already talks of number seven.

Wearing a very sexy one-shoulder white gown, Michelle Rodriguez says the secret to the film's ongoing success is as simple as "that is what the people want." And as far as if there will be an ending date anytime soon, "[It's]when the people say. When they stop buying tickets. They're the producers. It's worse than kick-starter honey. I'm here. I'm back. I'm living proof."

For Luke Evans who plays the villain Shaw, the reason he says the franchise keeps going is because the films just keep getting better.

"It's actually better and bigger and faster and crazier and more explosive than it's ever been before and I think that's what's exciting about it."

In this leg of the franchise, Dom played by Vin Diesel and Brian as portrayed by Paul Walker, are living on the lam since their last heist leaving their lives incomplete. Meanwhile, Hobbs has been tracking an organization of mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead but miraculously resurrects -- Letty [Michelle Rodriguez]. If Dom and Brian can stop the mercenaries they'll receive full pardons so they can live their normal lives again.

Stars Storm UK For Fast & Furious 6 Premiere

With the sixth film already under their belts, talk of the next installment led to speculation among the cast as to who might be a good addition to the team.

For Tyrese, Gina Carano and Luke Evans, their first choice was Halle Berry. For Michelle Rodriguez it was Rihanna, saying "she'll help the franchise." For Elsa Pataky it was her handsome husband Chris Hemsworth, and for the man of the evening Ludacris, he was all about having ET's own Rocsi Diaz join the cast.

"I would love to see Rocsi in it. That's what we need," he joked.
