The citizens of Nashville, Tennessee may find it hard to sleep tonight with all of the after parties following country music's biggest night, which brought out some of the industry's biggest stars.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosted the The Country Music Association Awards live from the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday where Taylor Swift and The Band Perry walked away as big winners.

The Band Perry picked up some serious hardware, being awarded three statuettes including two for their hit single If I Die Young.

Singing sensation Taylor Swift tweeted her reaction to winning the coveted Entertainer of the Year honor, writing, "YES!!!! Thank you!!! Flipping out backstage!!!!!"

Husband and wife Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert took home his and her trophies in the male and female vocalist categories.
