Taylor Swift: Red Tour Will Be A 'Bit More Mature'

Taylor Swift kicks off her Red Tour this week in support of her chart-topping album with sold-out shows in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13th and 14th, and in this brand-new interview, Taylor dishes on what fans can expect from the feverishly anticipated tour.

"I think from the Red Tour fans can expect the unexpected," Taylor dishes. "I really like the element of surprise and incorporating that into the show."

This time around, she says fans can expect a "more mature" performance from the usually playful 23-year-old.

"I think the visuals portrayed in this show will be I guess more grown-up and a little bit more mature than things we've done in the past," she says. "And I think on my previous albums and on my previous tours, I really like to operate in the element of fantasy, and I think that this tour incorporates a little more reality in the visuals which is nice."

The North American portion of the Red Tour will play 66 shows in 47 cities in 29 states and 3 provinces spanning 6 months in 2013, with her musician pal Ed Sheeran set to open for her.
