Avril Lavigne Reveals Wedding Plans
Avril Lavigne is beaming, and for good reason. The music superstar has been busy in the recording studio for a long period of time, but she's reemerged with a fan-made video for her new single that earned more than a million views on Vevo in just three days – and she's busy planning her wedding! "I'm handling it," says Avril of the nuts-and-bolts planning of her nuptials with her fiancé, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. "I think that when it comes to the menu and stuff like that I'll get his opinion, but I'm kind of like leading the way and he's just letting me do my thing. I think he's happy with the direction that it's going. … He's stoked. We're excited."
This will be the second marriage for Avril, who was hitched to Sum 41's Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2010. As for her new tune, Here's To Never Growing Up, available now at digital retailers, Avril co-wrote it with her fiancé. The party-like song marks her reunion with original mentor L.A. Reid and her debut on Epic Records.

Of her new hit vid for Here's To Never Growing Up, Avril explains that she's shooting an official video for the tune, but in the meantime, "We did with the fans like a lyric video, and they submitted a video of themselves, and some images, like photos and stuff, and we put together a lyric video online. … The actual video [theme is] senior prom, and I never went to prom, so it's my first prom and I'm real excited. And I'm wearing a prom dress, but of course we like ripped it up and made it all messy and I've got like a crown on, and it's cool because it's back in high school … so it'll be out in a couple weeks."
