Jay-Z took over New York City's Pace Gallery today, July 10, and performed Picasso Baby for six straight hours, per Pitchfork. The conceptual art-inspired experience will be edited into a traditional video at a later date, but thanks to the hordes of tech-savvy extras who were (apparently) encouraged to Vine and Instagram the experience, we've already got a good idea of what the finished product will look like.

Lena Dunham, whose artist mom Laurie Simmons was reportedly involved in the project, was tweeting from the set while her Girls' collaborators, Judd Apatow and Adam Driver, had their pictures taken.
The highlight is undoubtedly when Jay squares off with Marina Abramović -- whose gallery performances may have served as inspiration for the music video. Check out a few on the Vine vids below, or HERE.
