"There's no venue like the Hollywood Bowl, I don't think, in the world," said Natalie, 63, the daughter of music legend Nat King Cole. "I went to see my father there numerous times. It's changed a lot since he was performing there, but it's just a prestigious place."

In a special surprise, Natalie performed a duet -- Acercate Mas -- with her father via video.

"The music is the star," said Natalie, when asked about how she prepares for her shows. "That's what we really concentrate on."

The night seemed to be a regular family affair, as Natalie was also joined by Cuban pianist Chucho Valdes, whose dad worked with Nat King Cole back in the day.

"I've never met Chucho," said Natalie. "This'll be our first time on stage together and I'm really looking forward to it."

Natalie Cole en Espanol, which hit No. 1 on the Latin music charts, is available now.
